The pre-existance is not just a fact about the project but a living material to transform. The deep knowledge of its physiology suggests multiples degrees of intervention. Starting from the old structure the new function adapts itself to it and at the same time it shapes the spaces and materiality.

Impone che la pre-esistenza non sia solo un dato del progetto, quanto piuttosto materiale vivo da trasformare. La profonda conoscenza della sua fisiologia suggerisce molteplici gradi di intervento. Partendo dalla vecchia struttura, la nuova funzione vi si adatta, e al contempo ne modella gli spazi e la matericità.
