The project of a health centre in Taverny aims at gathering in one place a multidisciplinary team of medical doctors. The building is constructed around a central patio, with an interior weel-adapted to care facilities and reminiscent of ancient cloisters. Wood is massively used (structure, facade cladding), it reflects our desire to provide the town an environmentally-friendly building. Four-sided roofs crown the building and are at a scale in keeping with that of the nearby existing buildings. They ensure the natural lighting and ventilation of the different areas.
Le pôle de santé de Taverny vise à regrouper une équipe pluridisciplinaire de médecins. Le bâtiment, articulé autour de son patio central en croix, offre une qualité de vie intérieure, symbole des lieux de soin à l’image des anciens cloitres. L’usage massif du bois, en structure et en façade, reflète notre volonté d’offrir à la ville un équipement respectueux des problématiques environnementales. Des toitures à quatre pans couronnent l’ensemble et répondent à l’échelle des constructions existantes, tout en permettant d’éclairer les circulations intérieures.
