The wooden house questions the flexibility of the wood material by manipulating the typology of the individual dwelling. Two thin openings are cut out of a monolithic volume to let in the light and glimpses of the surrounding. The project generates a progressive field of vision onto the forest, as to better integrate itself into the external environment. Between low-tech and high-tech, the wooden house bring a new way of living, closer to nature and more sensitive to the world.
La maison 100% bois interroge la flexibilité et l’usage du bois et vise à modifier les codes de l’habitat individuel traditionnel. Dans l’épaisse coque, un espace fluide offre une diversité de configurations spatiales. Le projet génère un champ de vision progressif sur la forêt grâce à une ouverture horizontale déployée sur la périphérie du volume. Entre savoir faire primitif et nouvelles technologies, la maison 100% bois dégage de nouvelle perspective sur la façon d’habiter le monde.
