Social and cultural center in Cabourg

Our proposal for a socio-cultural center aims to strengthen the community feeling of residents by creating a place of social connection. For this, the programs of the social center and the library are organized around a central courtyard, a meeting place for visitors, whether they are passing through or decide to take advantage of the qualities of the place to make a stop. The project advocates an economy of means by the assumed use of raw materials as finishing materials such as waterproofing.
Notre proposition de centre socio-culturel veut renforcer le sentiment communautaire des résidents en créant un lieu de lien social. Pour cela les programmes du centre social et de la bibliothèque s’organisent autour d’une cour centrale, lieu de rencontre des visiteurs, qu’ils soient de passage ou décident de profiter des qualités du lieu pour marquer un arrêt. Le projet prône une économie de moyens par la mise en œuvre assumée de matériaux bruts comme matériaux de finition telle l’étanchéité.
