The archetypal form of the double-sided house results from the pavilion and regulatory context. This is augmented by a perimeter terrace sheltered by a canopy alternately full covered or sun shaded with steel grating. This scenography of the exposed wood frame forms a strong interior/exterior continuity and gives an exotic and warm side to this pagoda although well Alsatian. The material facade/ roof in thin wave steel cladding of a deep green/black integrates it in the large wooded landscape of this village entrance and recalls the surrounding agricultural constructions. A local and contextual exoticism, a friendly hand extended towards its environment.
Du contexte pavillonnaire et réglementaire résulte la forme archétypale de la maison à double pans. Celle-ci est augmentée d’une terrasse périphérique abritée d’un débord de toiture formant alternativement couverture pleine et brise-soleils en caillebotis acier. Cette scénographie de la charpente bois apparente forme une continuité intérieur/extérieur forte et donne un côté exotique et chaleureux à cette pagode pourtant bien alsacienne. La matérialité façade / toiture en bardage acier à ondes fines d’un vert/noir profond l’intègre dans le grand paysage arboré de cette entrée de village et rappelle les constructions agricoles environnantes. Un exotisme local et contextuel, une main tendue à son environnement.
